3 Day Big South Fork Backpack

Let's spend a few days exploring one of Tennessee's best wilderness areas: Big South Fork! Exact route plan is still being worked out, but we're planning on camping in the No Business/John Muir Overlook area and hiking a loop along the river, exploring the ruins at No Business, and spending some time at the John Muir Overlook.

We'll meet at 11:30 a.m. central time on Thursday at the Terry Cemetery trailhead and hit the trail. This trip is suitable for backpackers of all skill levels. However, this will be a "go at your own pace" hike, so come prepared with a map and the ability to navigate yourself on the trail. If I haven't hiked with you previously, please send me a Meetup message with your phone number when you rsvp for this trip. If I don't receive your contact info when you sign up, your spot will go to the next person on the wait list.
