Long Hunter Overnight Trip

Hey everyone! Let’s take a quick weekend trip to Long Hunter State Park. We will meet at 10am central at Bakers Grove trailhead and hike about six miles to camp via the Day Loop Trail and the Volunteer Trail. I’ve reserved backcountry campsite #2.

Well behaved dogs are welcome!

This trip is suitable for beginners who are conditioned to the mileage.

The final reimbursement cost will depend on group size. The total cost was $17 so figure $2-3/pp.

Everyone should have a map and be able to navigate independently. There is a free map on the Avenza app and the AllTrails map is below.
