Bitcoin: Money is Technology (...and Cinco de Mayo!)

Money itself (glass beads, sea shells, Rai stones, gold, dollar, bitcoin) is technology – and if you want your money to be useful (over the short and long term), you need it to be a good technology.

We'll discuss:

• What previous technologies were used as money (glass beads, sea shells, Ria stones, gold)
• Why these stopped being the best tech to serve as money
• What happens when you use the wrong tech as money
