Welcome to the Nassau/Suffolk County Board Games Meetup Group
(formerly the Untitled Board Gaming Alliance)

This group is for anyone living in Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island or nearby areas of the New York metro region who enjoys board gaming.

VENUE AND TIME ALLOTTED

We now meet weekly at a private residence located at:

36 Melony Avenue
Plainview, NY 11803

The event is hosted by Todd. Please be respectful of the space, and note that while it’s a home setting, everyone is welcome!

Attendees arrive and leave at various times. There is no obligation to stay for the full duration. It’s encouraged to post in the Comments section what time you plan on arriving and leaving.

A segment of the group arrives between 5:00 and 5:30 PM
A good portion arrives between 5:30 and 6:30 PM
David B. (Event Host) usually arrives around 7:00 PM
Clean-up starts around 8:50 PM

FOOD AND DRINK POLICY

There are no strict restrictions on food or drink.
Snacks or treats are often available, and attendees are welcome to bring food or drinks if they wish.

Please RSVP responsibly. If your status changes, be sure to update it. Sharing your approximate arrival time and any updates in the message board is helpful for planning.

WHAT TO EXPECT

If you're looking for a friendly and welcoming group to play a wide range of board games with, join us for a Thursday meetup in Plainview.

Newcomers are always welcome! Whether you're brand new to the hobby or familiar only with classics like Chess, Monopoly, or Scrabble, we encourage you to try something new. There’s always someone willing to teach.

Bringing your own games is not required but if you have any favorites, feel free to bring them along! Many members enjoy trying out something new.

You’re also welcome to post in the message board to let others know what games you’re bringing or hoping to play.
