Ulysses: Scylla & Charybdis
Details
We'll be discussing ninth episode of Ulysses informally known as Scylla & Charybdis. The chapter is around 34 pages long in most editions. Since most copies of the novel don't clearly show where the chapters begin, here is a breakdown:
Scylla & Charybdis begins with "Urbane, to comfort them, the Quaker librarian purred:" and ends with "From our bless'd altars."
