We'll be discussing the twelfth episode of Ulysses informally known as Cyclops. The chapter is around 53 pages long in most editions. Since most copies of the novel don't clearly show where the chapters begin, here is a breakdown:

Cyclops begins with "I was just passing the time of day with old Troy of the D.M.P." and ends with "And they beheld Him, even Him, ben Bloom Elijah, amid clouds of angels ascend to the glory of the brightness at an angle of forty-five degrees over Donohoe's in Little Green Street like a shot off a shovel."
