Rattle Workshop Native American style

You will construct a hafted rattle made of elk hide as seen here (less collar and fringe.) You can then trim your rattle as you choose. After you learn the technique, you will be able to create rattles in virtually any design. While we also make palm, effigy, and mini rattles, this workshop focuses on full size hafted.

A $20 deposit for materials is due Saturday, May 17th. The balance can be paid at the door at the start of the workshop. Please pay the deposit by Zelle to 954-270-8939.

This workshop is presented by Rick McBride, a mixedblood Cherokee. Rick has been crafting for over 25 years. He is a 20-year Sundancer who leads ceremonies locally and elsewhere.
