| Container Gardening with Native Plants

presented by Stefany Muller

Date: Monday 13 April

Time: 6:30 PM with presentation starting at 7:00 PM, doors open at 6:00

Location: Tacoma Nature Center, 1919 S Tyler St, Tacoma

With a B.S. in Botany from the University of Washington and more than 25 years in organic fine gardening, Stefany Muller has dedicated her career to creating beautiful, ecologically meaningful gardens across the urban Northwest. As co-owner of Essential Gardeners LLC in Seattle, she oversees the care of more than 100 client gardens and leads four teams of professional gardeners alongside her business partner. She invites participants to create container gardens that are both beautiful and ecologically rich—miniature habitat patches that can contribute to larger urban corridors. Her goal is for everyone to walk away confident in choosing regionally appropriate native plants, understanding how their container ecosystem will grow and mature, and inspired by the ripple effect one thoughtfully designed pot can create.
