Folks, I am starting this group for people interested in travelling and exploration. The idea is for a group of people to travel & explore to various remote & exotic places in India and outside in a native (non-tourist) way. The Idea : Adaptable People - reasons: comfort is not guaranteed, drinks, free-speech Preferably Omni-tarians (ready and open to enjoying local cuisines) Mode of travel: Trains , local buses, autos, tongas , bicycle , foot etc . Accommodation: <=2 Star hotels, Bunk-beds, tents, waiting rooms Luggage: 1 - Backpack (Trekking/ hiking will be involved) Some of the proposed places to consider (just from the top of my head) Laddakh Sikkim Bhutan Nepal Lakshwadeep Andamans Garwal …….Please add more locations Being a group can help getting better deals in accommodation, convenience etc. and will provide certain security and group support. Please feel free to invite your friends & colleagues. The more the merrier.
