## About the Event
What's it all about?
Under the guidance of a Chopra Certified Meditation and Ayurveda Lifestyle Instructor, explore and practise Ayurveda – the original Lifestyle Medicine – to support transformation and connect with your most beautiful, balanced self, inside and out. Learn how to live a life of health, happiness, fulfilment, and vitality – your way.
Through nutrition, meditation, pranayama and mindful movement, learn how to restore balance and deepen your connection with yourself, others, and the natural world (our extended body). This 5,000-year-old holistic healing system can help reduce inflammation (a key factor in many chronic conditions), support gut health, and regulate the nervous system for overall wellbeing.
Take a well-rounded, life-changing approach to your health. Release fear, stress and judgement while cultivating clarity, compassion, curiosity, peace and love. Activate deep healing by embracing wholeness.
Discover your unique mind-body type (Dosha)
A key principle of Ayurveda is restoring balance by understanding your Dosha. You’ll complete a simple 10-minute questionnaire to uncover both your Prakruti (your natural constitution) and your Vikruti (your current state). With this insight, we’ll explore Ayurvedic nutrition and lifestyle practices tailored to your unique make-up – helping you restore balance and support long-term wellness.
Learn to become your own best doctor by recognising early signs of imbalance and applying daily practices to rebalance and prevent, or even reverse, the progression toward dis-ease.
Ayurvedic Cooking Demonstration & Shared Lunch
Experience the healing power of Ayurvedic food in action. You’ll learn how to prepare Khichadi, a classic Ayurvedic dish, using the principles of the Six Tastes, the power of spices, and eating for your Dosha. This will be followed by a shared buffet-style vegetarian, Ayurveda-inspired lunch. Please see menu below.
You’ll leave feeling replenished, revitalised, and equipped with simple, effective Ayurvedic tools to support your unique path to lasting health and happiness.
