Spring ephemeral wildflowers, edibles, natural history nature walk in Little Bennett Regional Park, Wilson Mill Parking Area, Clarksburg, MD (upper Montgomery County) about 3 miles off of Rte. 270. Likely to see Spring beauty, the diminutive Dwarf ginseng, Cutleaf toothwort, Trout lilly and more.

Important - The walk leader is severely allergic / chemically sensitive to fragrances, petrochemicals, etc., do not wear perfumes/colognes, scented sunscreen, or other scented personal care products; or use any bug spray or sunscreen.

Pace - naturalist shuffle to normal walking pace. The natural trail will be muddy, be prepared!
Children (w/ their parents) are welcome as long as they are old enough to do the walk/hike (about one mile plus).
There are no facilities / restrooms at this location.
Bring hat (for both sun & any problems with gnats/flies), water, & snack. Optional: field guides, camera.

Location: Little Bennett Park , Wilson Mill Parking Area (not the main park of the park).
Off of Route 270, Exit 18 Clarksburg/Bodys exit (Route 121) - coming off the exit ramp head to Clarksburg, this puts you onto Stringtown Road.
Go to the 2nd traffic light (if you are coming from the north do not count the traffic light at the ramp exit) - and turn left onto Rte 355 (north). Go to first traffic light and turn right onto Clarksburg Road (Route 121). Continue on Clarksburg Road for about two miles. The Wilson Mill Parking Area is on the left - there is a sign indicating such. On GoogleMaps: https://goo.gl/maps/3VxTWsT973HiyXhj7
(Again, ignore the road signs to the park, we are NOT meeting at the main park entrance area on Rte. 355).
