Community Meetup About Women But Not Only For Women
Women at Work in Progress

Despite equal representation of women in society, gender inequality remains a problem even in 2022. A report by the Israel Innovation Authority and "A Woman in High-Tech" Initiative from March 2022 demonstrates staggering figures.

Although approx. 50% of the students majoring in mathematics are girls, only 23% later join the IDF in R&D positions, and 13% are in cyber security positions. Whereas women make up only 33% of the Israeli workforce, they hold only 28% of the tech positions. In academia, women are less than 31% of all tech professions BA degree holders, and little less than 28% are integrated into technical positions. What about the great startup nation? about 16.5% of senior positions in local VCs are held by women, and about 9.4% of the startups established in the last decade were Established by women CEOs and entrepreneurs.

The Women at Work in Progress meetup will discuss this gap and various life frameworks - the family, education, society, industry, and work. Our top-notch speakers, experts in their fields, will discuss the needed changes to shatter the glass ceiling and gender barriers and open up new opportunities for the younger generation.
