Why Good People are Divided by Politics and Religion (Book Presentation)

Details
Why Good People are Divided by Politics and Religion is the subtitle of Jonathan Haidt's 2012 book The Righteous Mind, a summary of his research as a social psychologist. The New York Times called it "a landmark contribution to humanity's understanding of itself."
In this seminar, I will present the book's most interesting findings and theories and raise some questions and criticisms.
No prior knowledge is expected, but if you want some food for thought in advance, you can watch Haidt's TED talk here and dive much deeper at The Righteous Mind | Why Good People are Divided by Politics and Religion.
A word of warning: This topic is not for the faint of heart. We will graphically discuss violent and disgusting behavior, as does Jonathan Haidt in his work. To give you an idea, watch the lethal injection scene from the 1995 movie "Dead Man Walking" at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryqyAX_lA7w. Stay away if this is too much for you.
This meetup is free of charge or any other financial interest. For obvious reasons, however, everyone must order a drink.
