What is Fascism?

Details
For people who see and think for themselves, there is only one way to answer this question: looking at the primary sources. Quite a few of these are short, understandable, and just a click away. But it takes some curiosity and courage to face them. We will do just that in this seminar.
In addition to a selection of primary sources, I will present evidence on the dangerous appeal of fascism from two great works of social psychology: The Righteous Mind: Why Good People are Divided by Politics and Religion by Johnathan Haidt and The True Believer: Thoughts on the Nature of Mass Movements by Eric Hoffer.
No prior knowledge is expected, but if you want to inform yourself in advance, start with Adolf Hitler's National Socialist Program and Benito Mussolini's Doctrine of Fascism.
This meetup is free of charge or any other financial interest. For obvious reasons, however, everyone must order a drink.
