Secret Thoreau: Part 1 - Subury River and Fairhaven Bay

Please join us for the first installment of Secret Thoreau. The next few walks veer off the regular path and explore secret locations that were favorite haunts of Thoreau. The theme of this walk is Hidden Virtues. We will explore hidden gems of passages that lead to the most beautiful vistas in Concord. This walk will be a little more challenging than previous walks. We will cover 3-4 miles with some pretty steep hills including one rock-scramble. Trust me, it is worth it! Bring whatever gear is necessary for the conditions. Sturdy boots with micro-spikes might be the best bet. Barring a tornado, we go in any weather.
