Trail Canyon Falls Hike

Details

Hi everyone,
I'm excited to invite you to our very first group hike!
I haven't explored this trail myself, but it's known for its beautiful views.
Reviews are a bit mixed - some say it's an easy hike, while others mention a few challenging sections.
Depending on the water levels, we might encounter some creek crossings along the way.
Come join if you'd like!

4.6mi Length
1,003ft. Elevation gain
2h 22m Estimated time

"The first half of the hike is shaded and includes a couple of water crossings. The second half is more exposed with limited shade. Once you park in the parking area off Big Tujunga Canyon Road take the North Trail Canyon Road to Trail Canyon Trail Path. The trail meanders through the mountains following the creek and is a pleasant hike. Trail Canyon Falls is off the Falls Base Trail. The route gets a bit steep as you approach the falls so make sure to wear proper footwear. There are a number of ropes to hold onto for safety as well. The views of the waterfall are spectacular."

Parking
You can park on the side of the highway just make sure most of your car is on the dirt road and off the highway. There's limited parking by the gated entrance to the trail.

Restroom: No (Mc Donalds is 20 mins driving away)
