Filming Nature at Barr Lake

We'll be going to Barr Lake to film nature.
Depending on the type of lens you have, the subjects you can optimally film will be different from others.
At Barr Lake in June, here are some of the filming opportunities for each type of lens.

Telephoto lens:

• Great Blue Herons (see event cover photo)
• Bald Eagle nests
• American White Pelicans

50mm lens (most phones):

• Cottonwood treeline along the trail
• Lake with Brighton skyline
• Boardwalk/gazebo structures

Macro lens:

• Dragonflies along lakeside reeds (see event cover photo)
• Pollinators on prairie wildflowers
• Cattail and marsh vegetation detail

Wide/ultra-wide lens (most phones):

• Winding canal under blue sky (see event cover photo)
• Reflections across the lake
• Cottonwood canopy
