Forest Bathing- An Earth Day Celebration!

Details

Celebrate Earth Day with a serene Sunset Forest Bathing Walk!

🌿 What is Forest Bathing? 🌿

Forest bathing, also known as shinrin-yoku in Japanese, is a therapeutic practice that involves immersing oneself in a natural environment, typically a forest or wooded area. Rather than hiking or exercising, forest bathing focuses on slowing down and engaging all five senses to fully connect with the natural surroundings. It's about being present in the moment, observing the sights, sounds, smells, textures, and even tastes of the forest.

As we move through the forest at a leisurely pace, we'll let go of stress and tension, allowing ourselves to be fully present in the moment and attuned to the rhythms of nature. Whether you're seeking relaxation, inspiration, or simply a deeper connection with the Earth, this Sunset Forest Bathing Walk offers a rejuvenating experience for body, mind, and spirit.

🌿 Who can benefit from this Forest Bathing? 🌿

  • You wish to connect more deeply with the natural world and yourself.
  • You have been feeling heavy with the weight of life’s daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • You have been feeling stressed, frazzled, discontented, or overwhelmed.
  • You could use an hour of rejuvenating self-care.
  • You feel overwhelmed with technology-addiction.
  • You enjoy time outdoors.
  • You've heard about “Forest Bathing” and want to experience it for yourself.

🌿 What to expect 🌿

After a brief introduction, you will be guided on a short meditation to allow yourself to drop into your body and the present moment.

A series of invitations will be offered that will facilitate a deeper sense of connection to your surroundings and to your physical body. These activities may be mindful, playful, experiential, or imaginal in nature.

Between invitations, the group will gather to share any thoughts, emotions, or insights that arose during the activity.

The session will end with a Tea Gathering, where we incorporate the wisdom of the session into our bodies through the sharing of snacks, beverages, and conversation.

Light refreshments will be provided! 😋

This event is offered for a suggested donation of $20-$40 per person. A small accountability fee will be charged ($5) to ensure that those who RSVP will be in attendance. Payments accepted: Venmo, Cashapp, Paypal, cash, check.
