Nature Immersion
Details
Welcome to this Nature Immersion in the Santa Fe Mountains!
If you love connecting with nature, quieting your mind, opening your heart, and find peace in nature, then I warmly invite you to join me as we explore our connection to the More-Than-Human World through our awareness of our senses.
Let’s embrace the healing power of the forest as Narayan Gwin, a certified Forest Therapy Guide by the Association of Nature & Forest Therapy Guides & Programs, invites us to explore the forest with our senses and be aware of our deep connection to ourselves, each other, and the expansive beauty of the natural world.
During this immersion after different sensory invitations, you will have a chance to share what you are noticed with the group. With a bit of guidance, this experience is about listening to and being aware of what the more-than-human world wants to share with you. At the closing of the immersion we will share wild-crafted tea from the forest and a light snack.
This Nature Immersion will be at 1 pm on Sunday October 10th at the Big Tesuque Campground .* Please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out a waiver, if you haven’t done so already. This will not be a long strenuous hike, as this Nature Immersion is a slower paced meditative experience. Though keep in mind that the very beginning of this trail start off steep and rocky for about 20 feet. This event lasts about 3 hours. Here are some things you will need for this event: plenty of water, supportive shoes for hiking (we will be venturing off trail), layers to be prepared for differing weather 9 including rain), a light portable chair (one you can carry with you) or blanket to sit on, and you may want to bring a snack.
Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. I hope to see you there!
Suggested donation $25.
All are welcome
