Nature Photography and Art- Sunsets tour of South SSPRD

Join us for an inspiring program designed for photographers and artists during the magical hours of dusk and sunset! We'll embark on a journey to explore some of the most picturesque locations at South Platte Park. Departing in a van, we'll head to the south end of the park to capture the stunning colors and serene beauty of sunset. Whether you're looking to enhance your photography skills or find artistic inspiration, this program promises a wonderful experience in a breathtaking setting. Don't miss this opportunity to create and connect with fellow artists!
- Duration: 6:30pm-8:30pm
- Trip: We will walk to areas near Carson Nature Center to explore locations perfect for photography and sketching, moving at a slow pace. We will then depart via the Van that can hold 11 participants to explore the South end of the Park. We will enjoy seeing a version of the Park that closes to the public, during the afternoon/dusk.
- Bring: A snack and plenty of water. Dress for the weather including sunscreen, insect repellent, and layers as needed. Cameras/phones, sketch books and preferred art supplies.
- Cost: Registration is $15 per person that is a resident with a $5 charge for non-residents on South Suburban Parks and Recreation website.
