This is the second event of six. This time our walk takes us to Arnside and Silverdale, a little different from last week, but equally beautiful, with coastal views, native woodland and limestone geology.

You can arrive by car, bus or train! (Route 49 from Lancaster).

We start at the train station for ease, and weave our way around the coast to Blackstone Point, looking back over to Grange-over-sands, before heading to the top of Arnside Knott, and back into Arnside for tea and medals. 6 miles and 660ft of climbing. Rated: Easy.

The aim of this series of events is to get some fresh air, spend time out walking and talking in the mountains, woods and valleys with a small group.

The coaching element of this walk is open to you if you'd like to engage. There will be 121 coaching time with me as we walk, and chats with others if you wish. It's a time to get to know each other, with light chat, and some time to reflect too.

I have spent many years walking in this area and want to share this place with you, and the local stories too. (I am a qualified Mountain Leader and certified coach).

Bring walking boots, a waterproof, lunch and a drink of water.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
