Welcome to our third of six coaching walks.

We start at the Old Dungeon Ghyll car park. You can arrive by car or by bus (Route 516 - arrives 9:56am).

The route starts by following the beck out to the back of the Langdale valley, before beginning to climb steadily up to Red Tarn, we take our time, going at our own pace, with regular stops to look at the view and catch our breath.

After a rest and refresh we make the final push to the top of Pike of Blisco, admiring the views of the central mountains before making our way down to the zig zags and back to the pub for refreshments. 5.1 miles, 2025ft of climbing. Rated: Moderate+ (a sustained and manageable ascent and decent).

The aim of this series of events is to get some fresh air, spend time out walking and talking in the mountains, woods and valleys with a small group.
The coaching element of this walk is open to you if you'd like to engage. There will be 121 coaching time with me as we walk, and chats with others if you wish. It's a time to get to know each other, with light chat, and some time to reflect too.

I have spent many years walking the fells of the Lake District, and want to share those places with you, and the local stories too. Bring walking boots, a waterproof, lunch and a drink of water, (and maybe poles if you want some extra support).

Looking forward to seeing you there!
