Midwinter in Skanör; northern Flommen and northern Skanör-Höll
Details
Expect about 8-10 km. End time is approximate, I'd like for us to take the time we want.
Remember to unattend asap when you will no longer be going.
Dogs are welcome without leash.
We will be following Skåneleden around the northern tip of the Falsterbo peninsula. Starting from the centre of Skanör we will first walk to Skanör harbour and check it out. Then we will walk back towards the centre and find Skåneleden on our left hand's side. We will follow Skåneleden all the way around the tip, with a break for refuel about midway, until we reach Bredeväg, a deep ditch or canal which was used for transportation of goods to Skanör from Höllviken until the end of 1800's. We will cross it over a bridge and then leave Skåneleden to get to bus stop Skanör Stefan Löfvings väg.
For those of you coming by car you can either walk back to your car from Bredeväg. You can also catch the bus in the opposite direction and get off at Skanör centrum to get back to your car.
What to bring:
Flashlight. It will probably start getting dark before we reach Stefan Löfvings väg.
Binoculars
Something to eat and drink, something to sit on, a warm sweater for the break. Dress according to weather, it might be windy from the sea.
How to get there:
By bike: easily accessible by bike paths.
By public transportation: bus 300 arrives at bus stop Skanör centrum at 12.39.
By car: there's a parking at Skanör northern beach Hamnvägen 1, 239 30 Skanör. Maybe it is possible to park by Ica.
