Dawn Chorus at Piper Spit Burnaby Lake

Join Kelvin Yip and Neill Vanhinsberg dark and early to listen to early morning bird song. We will be identifying birds by their song at the time of year and time of day when they sing the most. After the sun comes up we hope to see some of these songsters and take a stroll around the area. We can expect to hear several warbler species, some finches, sparrows and thrushes. Paths in the park are mostly hard packed.

Washrooms are available on site. Nature Vancouver members will be given priority. Parking is available in the park. Directions will be sent with confirmations.
