Join Nature Vancouver for a special in-person Birders’ Night with renowned ornithologist, author, artist, and conservationist Dr. Robert W. Butler, as he takes us on a fascinating journey into the world of crows.

From remote islands to urban environments, Society of Crows explores the remarkable lives and complex social interactions of these intelligent and familiar birds. Drawing on more than half a century of observing, studying and communicating about birds and nature, Rob will share stories and discoveries from a lifetime of crow watching.

Rob Butler is an award-winning scientist, author and public speaker whose work has brought birds and nature into the lives of tens of thousands of people. He is a Fellow of the American Ornithological Society and the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, a Signature Member of Artists for Conservation, and holds a PhD from the University of British Columbia.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A and book signing.
