Our walks last around two hours. Below are directions to our meeting location, helpful links, and information.
- Our walks are approximately two hours (10 am-12 pm). Please wear shoes or boots with good traction, as not all paths are paved.
- Restrooms are in the Hunnewell Visitor's Center (our first stop) and along the trail.
- This group is free to all, but donations are welcome. If you'd like to donate, please consider purchasing themedย merchandise with our group logo here: arb-walkers-store.printful.me. ๐งข๐๐ Proceeds go to the walking group.

We meet at the Forest Hills Gate at 10 AM every Saturday. Forest Hills Gate is on the Arborway.
Please note:ย This is not the gate directly across from Forest Hills Station. (That's Washington Gate.) Forest Hills Gate is a five-minute walk from the T station, but more accessible for pedestrians, drivers, and T riders.
From the MBTA: In Forest Hills Station, turn left as you exit the turnstile and follow signs for the Arborway. Cross the street and walk uphill along the Arborway, following the stone wall to your left. This is about a 5-minute walk.
Driving: In your GPS, enter the address "Forest Hills Road." This will take you to the Forest Hills Gate. Parking is available on the Arborway.
The walking group's first stop is the Hunnewell Visitor's Center, where we can use the restrooms and fill our water bottles. You're welcome to meet us there if you'd like. We get there between 10:10 and 10:35 am. You can wait near the entrance of the Center if preferred. See you soon!

- Charles River Walk!Kendall Square , Cambridge, MA
Charles River walk, including the Esplanade and the MIT campus! Followed by dinner/late lunch at Life Alive Organic Cafe, Kendall location. See below for details.
Meeting Place: In front of the MIT Museum, 314 Main St., Kendall Square, Cambridge.
Transportation: Take the Red Line or bus to Kendall Square. Driving is not recommended unless you already have a paid parking space. Parking advice will not be provided.
Walking Route: We'll walk through the MIT campus, then over the BU Bridge to the Esplanade. We'll walk through the Esplanade, then over the Longfellow Bridge, to Life Alive Cafe on Main St., Cambridge. Here is the Google Maps route.
Amenities: Restrooms are available on the MIT campus and in the boathouse on the Esplanade.
Difficulty Level: This is a 3.5-mile walk at a relatively brisk pace. There are some flights of stairs.
What to Bring: Water, an extra layer of clothing, and rain gear as appropriate. Money if you'd like to join us for dinner!
