Hoot Owl trail (Seven mile gulch trailhead) 4 Miles

Description: This moderate out-and-back hike of 4 miles, with 300 ft elevation change. Several turnaround points are identified for a shorter hike, and if you want a longer hike, the Hoot Owl trail continues another 2.5 miles south to the Smith Ravine trailhead. What makes this trail somewhat complex is the lack of trail signs and the criss-crossing “use” trails. You may also encounter dirt bikes and mountain bikes.

Directions: From Courthouse Plaza, drive east out of Prescott on Gurley St and SR 69 for 4.3 miles to Walker Rd by Costco. Turn right (south) and go 2 miles to the Sevenmile Gulch trail head on the right. Description: This moderate out-and-back hike
