Ellevated Hike - Aspen Creek to Thumb Butte

This is an out and back hike, with an optional loop around Thumb Butte at the end.
Out & back portion - 9.82 miles, 1371 ft gain
Thumb Butte loop portion - an additional - 2.4 miles 550 ft gain

Choose your own experience when we get to Thumb Butte. If you want a long break, take it. If you are up for the challenge, we will wait.

This is a fast paced hike with very little stopping. The average pace will be 3+mph on easy terrain, and only slightly less on challenging terrain. We will take breaks as needed.

In order to ensure everyone is signing up for a hike they will enjoy, and we can have a cohesive group pace, I'll private message anyone that I haven't hiked with before. I want to make sure you will enjoy the hike. I realize it can be challenging to translate the description into what it means practically.
