Williamson Valley TH to Granite Basin Lake - Moderate

7.75-8 miles, about 550 ft gain, this out & back starts off at Williamson Valley TH. After the first mile of this fast paced hike, we'll be in the shade on the way to Granite Basin Lake. The way there is mostly uphill, so the way back is almost all downhill . 2.75mph pace, with water breaks & a snack at the picnic tables by the lake.

There are several water crossings, so poles may be helpful, but they are probably all dry now.

The free version of Meetup is sufficient to RSVP for hikes. Hikes leave on time, regardless of RSVPs, because sometimes people just plain forget.
