Whitney hike - Thumb Butte Loop - Moderate

6.33 miles, 846 ft gain

This is more like a figure 8, the first half is mostly uphill & the second half is mostly downhill. There aren't any very steep areas. The pace will be about 2.75mph, with water breaks. Whitney is my 15 yr old homeschooler who enjoys leading hikes.

The free version of Meetup is sufficient to RSVP for hikes. Hikes leave on time, regardless of RSVPs, because sometimes people just plain forget.
