Whitney hike - Watershed 299 Loop - Moderate

Whitney hikes are led by my 15 yr old, at a 2.7mph pace, with water breaks.

This is the tame version of this hike. It starts with a .8 mile sunny, rocky, steep at times, hill. After that first big hill, it is small ups & downs the rest of the way. The last 3 miles on 62 have beautiful views, decent shade & a smooth trail.

Friendly dogs are welcome if the pace and duration work for your dog.

The free version of Meetup is sufficient to RSVP for hikes. Hikes leave on time, regardless of RSVPs, because sometimes people just plain forget.
