Watson Lake Loop Hike

Experience this 4.8-mile loop trail near Prescott, Arizona. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 49 min to complete. This is a very popular area for camping, fishing, and hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
We will meet a the the north ramp parking area. When you enter the park, drive straight ahead and turn left when you pass the big field. drive straight ahead from there and you will see the parking area.
There is no parking fee on Wednesdays.
This hike has about a 400 foot elevation gain. I suggest hiking poles and good hiking footwear. Bring plenty of water and clothing layers, it will be chilly at the start of the hike.
