Micro Meander Nature Photo Walk

We invite you to join us on a ‘Micro Meander’ and uncover the hidden miniature-world of Flora, Fauna and Fungi.

Event Details:

• Date: Thursday, 21st March 2024
• Time: 7:00 AM for 7:30 AM to +-9:30 AM
• Cost (All inclusive): R95.00 per adult, R45.00 per child under 12
• Payments: You can pay with cash or EFT.
• Location: Kloofendal Nature Reserve

About the Event:
There is value of each and every living entity, regardless of its size, understanding that everything in Nature has a place and a purpose.

Instead of just hiking and looking at the usual views of large trees, birds and landscape, we will wander slowly taking in the colourful treasures that usually go unnoticed due to their size.

Bring your smartphone to capture the Tiny Treasures you “unearth”.

If technology or taking photos is not really your thing join us anyway, and just enjoy the walk and discover new things that would normally pass by unnoticed.

Lee Douglas, a qualified FGASA qualified nature guide will be taking us out on this unique walk that will be both enlightening and creatively fun (If you want to make a collage with your photos, like in the event photo, we will be able to help you do it on the day). She will be there to answer any questions you may have.

The event is suitable for all ages and the walk will not be too strenuous.
