Nature Walks, Lunches, Movies and More

This book was suggested by Kirk plus Trish wants an incentive to read it :-)
Please make suggestions where you would like to meet for this discussion. It should have an area that allows the group to sit together and the music is not playing too loudly (so we can hear each other). Patios are often nice (if it isn't too hot that day). I will post the location at least 1 week before the meeting.
Anyway, I am open for suggestions for the venue.

Let's go back to Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens. May should have some spring blooms to enjoy.
The park charges $12 for adults. Check the web site for discounts and required IDs.
Meet outside the restrooms. That sounds icky but it is one place in the park that is easy to find.
Dogs are permitted on a leash. But there is a whole host of rules pertaining to pets - so please go to the web site and read the rules to be sure your pet is compliant.
Bring bug spray just in case the critters are out. Wear sun screen and bring water.
This will be cancelled if rain is predicted in am.
FYI: the road into the park can be rough.

Afterwards, if there is interest, we can find a nearby restaurant for a bite for lunch together.

For our June book discussion, we will discuss the novel “The Midnight Feast” by Lucy Foley. Thanks for the suggestion, Mary - it makes the scheduling easier.
It will probably be hot in June. Let's plan to meet inside for this one. We have not done Olive Garden for a very long time. I will post a comment to let you know where we are sitting in case you can't find us.
