Bolen Bluff Trail

Details
The last time we were on this trail, we saw horses and deer. The time before that, we saw many bison. There is always something to see.
We will take the trail loop and spur - about 2.7 miles. There should be plenty of opportunities to observe wildlife. Binoculars will help with that.
Bring water and bug spray. Wear a hat and/or sunscreen and closed toed shoes.
This will be cancelled if the weather does not cooperate.
If you are coming from Gainesville on 441, it is just on the left as you come up the hill from the prairie.

Additional driving directions:
"From Interstate 75, take the Micanopy exit and drive east to US 441. Turn left and watch for the park entrance on your right within a mile. Pass that entrance and continue 3.4 miles north along US 441 to a trailhead parking lot on the right, just before the highway descends into the prairie."
Unless they have changed this recently, there is an honors box for park fees - $2 per car. So be honorable. It might be set up to pay online - if anyone knows for sure, please comment.
I hope to see you there!
