What we’re about
Come take a hike this month with the Ecological Hikers group. We’ll be doing normal/average hikes in the San Diego area, nothing too crazy in distance. We’ll ask each other questions like, “What kinds of plants are active/flowering this time of year? Are there any interesting birds that we might spot at this particular spot? Where did these rocks come from, anyhow? What is the history of the hills and canyons we see around us on this trail? We'll keep it casual though too. I'm not going to play the sage on the stage the whole time by any means. I do find these sorts of questions to be good ice-breakers when meeting new hiker-people for the first time. If nothing else, it’s a good opportunity to get outside and experience nature with your neighbors! Hmm, Nature With Your Neighbors…hey that’s not bad. Maybe THAT should be the name of the group…
