This is a very beautiful natural salt and brackish marsh habitat home to many shorebirds, crabs, fish, shrimp, the occasional Dolphin and even a rare alligator. Learn about the importance of this diverse marsh habitat. This area is also rich in Native American and Early European History. Learn about the Native American people who lived in the area dating back 4000 years as well as the pre-colonial and early American Settlers that made this area their home.
