Welcome to Nature and Wellness Group, we provide Free Forest Bathing ( Shinrin Yoku ), Forest Therapy, Quiet Nature Walk and Mindfulness Meditation.
The aim of this Group is to
- appreciate and develop deeper connection with Nature
- immerse in Nature and stress reduction
- Promote mental & physical well being
- cultivate inner peace through mindfulness
Forests are mysteriously comforting, amazing place to explore and a walk among trees can be very therapeutic. Nature provides Free and the most effective healing yet sadly most neglected and the least appreciated by our society.
Professor and Dr. Qing Li (MD, PhD) who is the world’s foremost expert in forest medicine & immunology, the main researcher in Shinrin Yoku ( forest bathing ) stated profoundly,
"The forest is like my mother,
a sacred place, a gift to me from the divine.
It is a paradise of healing.
To study the benefits of forest bathing is my life work."

Special Note from the Organiser
This is not a social meet up group, this is for those who wish to spend " Peace and Quiet " time in Nature for therapeutic walks and some mindfulness activities. Please kindly join only if that is in alignment with what you value in life and maintain spirit of wellness.
GROUP RULES
_ All attendance must be RSVP, members with repeated No Show or late cancellation will be removed from the group. Guests or members on waiting list are not allowed unless approved by the event host.
_ Please treat other members of group with respect & courtesy, understand the boundaries and consider cultural sensitivity.
_ Please refrain from criticisms, personal attacks, harassments, loud voices and smoking including vape during the events.
_ The organiser has the right to prioritise members who are puntual, regular and show interest or appreciation.

Length & Grade: 17 to 19 km , easy to moderate, mainly unpaved. There are a few minor uphills however not steep.
Pace: leisurely and we may stop for a few times.
Break: appx 45 min with toilet facility. please bring your own pack lunch and sufficient water.
cost: Free and modest cash contributions are welcome to cover meetup running costs.
What to bring: pack lunch, sufficient water,cash for groupsave train ticket and a backpack. Please wear waterproof hiking shoes and dress appropriately to current weather update.

This is not a social meetup, this a mindful walk and it is very important to maintain the essence of " Peace & Quiet". The aim of the walk is to appreciate and cultivate deeper connection with Nature, to promote mental & physical well being, stress reduction and revigorate energy.GROUP RULES

IMPORTANCE
Some of the events require a participant to be able to walk 4 to 5 Km per hour and in some cases tough terrain too, please join only if your are medically fit enough. A cancellation may occur in case of heavy rain or snow, transport's information might be changed and please always check any updates and turn on notifications. Please follow and respect the countryside code;
• Leave gates and property as you find them.
• Slow down or stop for horses, walkers and farm animals and give them plenty of room.
• Make no unnecessary noise; do not disturb the residents or frighten farm animals & wildlife and maintain “ Peace & Quiet “ nature of countryside.
• Keep away from machinery and farm animals.
• Please do not feed livestock, horses or wild animals.
• Make sure you keep to the footpaths to help protect crops and wildlife.
