This event is for people who have attended forest therapy minimum 6 months to 1 year regularly. If you are new, please join the morning event swhich starts 10:47AM from Holmwood Station.
Redwood is a symbol of strength, resilience , longevity and often associated with very long lifespan as some can live more than 2000 years. They are the tallest tree on earth and release high amount of phytoncides into the air. In some cultures, redwood are considered sacred and indomitable spirit of Nature.
What will you be doing?
Forest immersion is slow-paced and involved group “sensory attunement activities”; connecting forest through five senses ( visual, auditory, kinaesthetic etc ) . There will be guided meditation to relax and participants will have their own time and space to explore the Forest.
Special Note from the organiser
This event is not hiking, social meeting ( talking) in the forest and please kindly refrain from using mobile phones during the process. Please join this event only if you are serious to attend, members with repeated No Show RSVPs or late cancellations will be removed from group.
MEETING POINT: 11:15 AM Victoria Rail Station's Ticket Office
Please meet other parcitipants for groupsave train ticket 1/3 off ( please bring cash ) and see photo below for train timetable. Alternatively please come directly to Holmwood Station by 12:47 AM.
OR
EVENT LOCATION: Start 12:47 and finish ETA 6 PM from Holmwood Station.
( No waiting for late comers please ).
WALK: 3miles to the wood and back to the Station, in total appx 5 to 6 miles. please wear comfortable hiking shoes and dress appropriately for current weather condition.
DURATION: appx 3 to 5 hrs
BREAK: 30 mins with toilet facility.
WHAT TO BRING: a backpack, a small picnic mat, a light blanket, sufficient water and pack lunch or snack. Please wear comfortable clothing and hiking shoes.
COST: FREE, donation or cash contributions are warmly welcome to cover the cost; meetup fees, petrol etc.
GROUP RULES
- All attendees are required to RSVP; members who repeatedly fail to show up or cancel late will be removed from the group. Guests or members on the waiting list are not allowed unless the event host approves.
- Please treat other group members respectfully and courteously, respecting their boundaries and considering their cultural sensitivities.
- Please refrain from criticism, personal attacks, harassment, loud voices, and smoking, including vaping, during the events.
- The organiser has the right to prioritise punctual and regular members and show interest or appreciation.
