About us
About this group:
This is a hands-on maker and engineering community for adults (18+) focused on designing, prototyping, and building pleasure products — for every body, every gender. We approach this the way any maker community approaches its craft: real materials, real electronics, real iteration, real feedback.
What we do:
Hands-on workshops covering silicone casting, mold-making, 3D printing, and basic electronics
Group prototyping and design-critique sessions (in person and via video call)
Material research and safety testing discussions (body-safe silicone, material science, lube chemistry)
Skill-sharing and demonstrations — members teaching other members techniques and processes
Mentorship pairing experienced makers with newcomers
Nature of activities — please read:
This group is strictly a fabrication, design, and education space. All activities involve building, teaching, and discussing product design and manufacturing techniques. No sexual activity of any kind — group or individual — occurs at any group event, ever. Members are here to design and build, not to use products, engage in sexual activity, or interact with one another in any sexual capacity. This is functionally identical to any other maker/hobbyist group (woodworking, electronics, 3D printing); the only distinction is the category of product being engineered.
Safety:
All in-person workshops take place in a workshop/studio setting appropriate for tool use (eye protection, ventilation, and material safety guidelines provided at each session)
Standard shop safety practices apply — soldering, casting, and cutting tools require appropriate precautions
Members are expected to treat one another with respect; harassment of any kind is not tolerated
This group is 18+ only; age verification may be required for admission
Who this is for:
Makers, engineers, designers, and anyone curious about the intersection of engineering and product design in this category. No prior experience required — just curiosity and a willingness to learn.
