This is a community driven event led by a professional ADHD coach. These sessions are intended to provide ADHD friendly support and planning for your job search, a place to help focus your attention on your intentions and action items as well as provide a spot to celebrate your successes and use support rather than stress to primarily fuel your search.
Each session we will catch the group up on where we are in our search, identify the next steps steps to take with time lines, and add in ADHD friendly support/strategies.
All job seekers are welcome, regardless of experience or industry or employment status. This group's purpose is to create accountability through visibility and community as well as to share resources, encouragement, and strategies. Please keep in mind, this group is not for providing career advice or career direction and it is not a support group. We aim to keep our focus on actionable next steps.
Structure:
- Welcome to new Seekers.
- Each Seeker has a turn to update the group on their progress.
- Each Seeker will get prompting and recommendations from the coach, in turn.
- Each Seeker will set intentions for the week's progress which they can report on at the next session.
This is a paid event since there is a limit to how many Seekers can be accommodated. $5 holds your spot for the session and refunds will only be offered if the event is canceled or rescheduled.
On-screen participation is required. This is a community workshop, so please come in on time and ready to join in! Only those who have made arrangements in advance will be allowed in if they are more than 5 minutes late so that the flow of the session is not disrupted for all other attendees.
