For many of us, Shame and Blame has been our primary ADHD treatment regimen for a large part of our lives. Many neurotypicals see it as the motivating factor that can power us to change. If you use stress or urgency to accomplish things, you probably have bought into that idea!

Let's have a chat about why this is the case, how it spills over in our self-talk today, identify some ways in which it can be holding us back and what we can do about it now. Come join the conversation!

This meeting will start with a presentation on the topic and then we will open the floor to discussion with the group where we can talk about our experiences. Ideally everyone will walk away with actionable items on how to improve their own self talk in a number of ways.
