What we’re about
Dear Sisters
Navigating divorce as a woman of colour can often feel like sailing through turbulent seas, with loneliness and conflict as unwelcome companions.
Do you find that friends seem to shy away from your struggles, and even family members may disappear when you need them most?
It's a journey where the familiar sense of belonging is replaced by a haunting feeling of isolation, isn't it?
Whether you're in the midst of separation, freshly divorced, or still tethered to a marriage that feels like it's already ended, your feelings are valid and worthy of acknowledgement.
You long for a community that truly understands, a tribe that sees you for who you are and embraces you with open arms.
In this space, I honour the complexities of your experience.
This is a community of acceptance, free from judgement or gossip about your former partner. Instead, we focus on breaking free from the cycle of mundane routines and the shadows of the past.
Here, you'll find engaging conversations that uplift and inspire, where we look toward the future with hope and resilience.
This meetup isn't just about making new friends; it's about reconnecting with your tribe and rediscovering the strength within yourself. Whether you choose to share your story or simply listen, know that you are seen, heard, and cherished here.
If you're yearning for a moment of respite and ready to take the next step, join us. I can't wait to welcome you with open arms!
With love and solidarity
