What we’re about
Goal: The Separation & Divorce Support Group is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for women who are considering, experiencing, or have gone through separation or divorce. Our aim is to offer emotional support, practical advice, and a community where women can share their experiences and learn from one another.
Who Should Attend: This group is for women considering separation, currently separating, in the process of divorcing, or who have already been through a divorce. Whether you're dealing with conflict, parenting challenges, communication issues, or simply looking for understanding and support, this group is here for you.
What We Will Do: Our monthly meetings will feature a range of activities and discussions designed to help members navigate the complexities of separation and divorce. Topics and activities will include:
Mindfulness Exercises: Techniques to manage stress and stay grounded during challenging times.
Communication Techniques: Tools and strategies for effective communication with ex-partners, children, and others involved.
Problem-Solving: Collaborative discussions on common issues faced during separation and divorce, and brainstorming solutions.
Open Discussions and Sharing: A chance for women to share their experiences, offer support, and receive guidance from the group.
