What we’re about
The goal of this group is to jointly form a solid understanding of the particular changes that are coming at us due to the confluence of several forces: solving fundamental problems when inexpensive energy becomes widely available; new concepts of the meaningful human life which will emerge when pointless employment becomes the domain for intelligent machines and Basic Universal Income is a fact of life; the swift maturation of Artificial Intelligence and Artificial Supreme Intelligence.
This will be an in-person group, not focused specifically on technology or how to get rich using AI, but a shared awakening into the understanding of what your next 50 years could mean and how you should prepare to handle it.
We will be from every aspect of society, demographic, and profession. At each event we will have a presentation by a member who takes on a research topic to start our understanding growing. We will seek presos from well-prepared professional individuals to strengthen our understanding. I'm proposing meetings twice a month.
