About us

I’m Irina Kremsner, a weaning coach based in Vienna, Austria

When it came to introducing solids to my daughter, I was faced with a huge amount of new information:

  • What is forbidden to eat?
  • Which products are good for my child?
  • How often should I feed her?
  • How can I instil good eating habits and avoid pickiness?

My background as a chemist (PhD) helped me find and process information, as well as understand processes from a scientific perspective. My daughter began eating well, and mealtimes together have become one of our favourite times of the day. We truly enjoy eating together! I realised I want other mothers to experience this pleasure, rather than the stress and anxiety that often accompany this sphere:

“He doesn’t eat anything!”
“He’s going to be hungry again soon, and I don’t know what to cook!”
“How can I give him the age-appropriate 100/150/… grams of food if he’s throwing everything around?” (Spoiler: no need to keep track of grams).
I then trained as a specialist in complementary feeding, nutrition, and eating behaviour for young children, and now I enjoy helping families.

Now I organise seminars, where mums (or dads) can learn more about when and how to start feeding their babies with solids, sharing with you the latest recommendations, based on evidence-based medicine.
