Wood Working is a noble trade that dates back centuries. Since the dawn of history, carpenters and woodworkers have built castles for kings, ships for merchants, and humble cabinets for blacksmiths and cobblers. Today, skilled carpenters help build, upgrade and remodel buildings ranging from single-family homes to urban skyscrapers. As the craft's technology evolve, educational needs of passionate woodworkers and creative artists hoping to enter the field.
Here’s the opportunity to become proficient with common hand and power tools. Carpentry, woodcarving and photo frame making and much more. Through hands-on training, you'll learn basic design principles like framing, interior and exterior finishing and layout.
Day 1: Furniture maker, Sahil Jangra will teach you Tool handling and woodwork skills through the practical application of making your own set of brackets. Learn how to measure and handsaw wood accurately, wood carving and shape wood with a chisel and a wood plane and sand your work to a velvety smooth finish.
Day 2: We will help you to select and cut all your materials to give a professional finish to your very own design using traditional tools and be taught lifelong skills along the way. Sahil will explain the making of cool stuff following up with the final paint job.
