Dohertys Irish Pub hosts live Irish bands every Tuesday from 6 - 9pm at their Apex location and every Wednesday from 6 - 9 pm at their Cary location.

This is a weekly learning session, sponsored by High Strung Guitars and Violins. Common session tunes are taught by ear, at a slow pace. Sheet music is provided later. Previously taught tunes are put into sets and played at a slow pace for part of each session.
The session meets from 6:30 to 8 every Tuesday evening.

Irish Jam with The New Potatoes and Friends..

Fred Lail, Mary Mondon and Gavin Douglas have been playing Traditional Irish Music for over twenty years.They perform together as ‘The New Potatoes’ and with a variety of other fine musicians in various incarnations and settings.
