What is your native language?

Do you speak any other language(s) fluently? If so, which?

I speak Spanish fluently.

What language(s) are you learning, and what is your current level of proficiency in each?

I am currently learning French! I am a beginner, perhaps creeping up to intermediate proficiency. Spanish is pretty strong but could always use more vocabulary.

Tell us about your interest in language learning...

Language learning is fascinating to me partly because of the challenge but also because of the vast history that is wrapped up in a language (it's development and evolution, culture, people).

If you could share one tip for someone learning a new language, what would it be?

Spend a lot of time listening to progressively more difficult natural conversations and start speaking sooner rather than later. It'll sound silly, but "talking to yourself" by speaking whatever words and phrases you know (in your car while your driving, for example) is a personal favorite technique ;)
