Gayle Goldsmith is a life-long member of the Sierra Club, both in Cincinnati, Ohio where she lived until she moved here 26 years ago and now with the Foothills Group. Since living here, she has been on many non-profit boards such as PEA (Piedmont Environmental Alliance); Yadkin Riverkeeper and is currently the chair of NC Climate Solutions Coalition. She is also on the Forsyth County Board of the Office of Environmental Assistance and Protection whose director is Minor Barnett. Gayle and her “TEEM” has been hosting monthly environmental movies for the past 18 years.
Gayle is a practicing attorney and pays attention to the news concerning environmental issues. She comes here tonight to talk about some environmental cases which recently or are in the courts now.
